Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Foundation

The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Advisory Committee was formed in collaboration with the Saint Paul Minnesota Foundation as part of the establishment of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Foundation in 2011. This fund was created to support the Band’s charitable goals, with the Saint Paul Minnesota Foundation managing its administration and distribution.

The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Advisory Committee is dedicated to guiding and enhancing the Band’s efforts in charitable giving to non-profits and community support. The Committee, comprised of the Mille Lacs Band elected officials serving as its members, provides strategic guidance to ensure that the Band’s philanthropic initiatives align with its cultural values, priorities, and vision to create a meaningful and lasting impact.

Each year, the Committee evaluates its priorities for funding opportunities. Such funding opportunities have fostered partnerships and addressed the most pressing needs within the community and beyond.
