Mille Lacs Band Court of Central Jurisdiction
The Judicial Branch of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe preserves and maintains justice and accords equal rights, equal protection, and equal opportunity for Band members under Band laws and statutes. The Band’s Court of Central Jurisdiction is made up of a District (or trial) Court and a Court of Appeals.

Effective June 1, 2021, The Mille Lacs Band Court of Central Jurisdiction has implemented the eFiling and eService system called File & ServeXpress (FSX). The link is below:
FSX is a web-based system that is used to electronically file documents in the Mille Lacs Band courts. Attorneys, government agencies and guardian ad litem are required to use the FSX system to file documents in court.
The Mille Lacs Band Tribal Court will be continuing to hold all court hearings & trials telephonically or virtually until October 1, 2022. The Tribal Court is going thtrough a renovation and expansion, with the expected date of completion about mid-September. If you need to stop into the Court Administration area, please excuse the mess.
