Project Description:
The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, Department of Natural Resources (MLB DNR) office will be accepting lump sum proposals for demolition of old boat landing and construction of new boat landing located at 17228 Walleye Road, Onamia, MN 56359

General Information:
A mandatory site visit is required by all contractors planning to submit a proposal. The site visit will take place on August 3rd 2026 at 10:00am.

Scope of Work:

• Demolition of old boat landing.
  o Including all building materials, concrete, rebar and other identified materials need to be disposed of in the proper manner.
• Grading / slope, obstruction removal
• Construction of new concrete boat landing access wide enough for a single boat and dock. In addition, the contractor is responsible for:
  • For securing all required permits and notifications as required by law.
  • All fees for such permits and notifications
  • Copies of such permits and notifications shall be provide to MLB DNR, County, State, and EPA if needed

Required Proposal Content:
All proposals shall include the following:

• Itemized cost for demolitions, filling of areas, and any permit/notification costs
• Estimate of days required to full fill scope of work
• Detailed plan of site safety and security during scope of work

Bidding Notes:
All proposals shall include the following:

• Copy of current Mille Lacs Band Vendor’s License (or a copy of submitted application)
• Copy of current Certificate of Insurance for Commercial Liability of $1 million and Design Professional Liability of $2 million
• W-9
• Copy of an authorized signature sheet if one is not already on file with the Mille Lacs Band
• List of Subcontractors
• Any other information specific to the project as stated in the RFP

Proposals are due on August 10thth, 2026 by 3:00pm.
Please note that all proposals must be submitted via mail to the P.O. Box. FedEx and UPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box and the Onamia post office will not accept hand delivered items. Please plan accordingly to ensure the timely receipt of your proposal submittal.

PROPOSALS NOT SUBMITTED IN THIS MANNER WILL BE REJECTED.
